TERMS & CONDITIONS

Arrival & Departure:

We aim to have all bedrooms ready for you to check in to from 2.00pm onwards except Sunday's when it is 3.00pm.
We would ask that you vacate your bedroom by 11.00am on the day of your departure.

Cancellation Policy:

Please remember that when you confirm your booking you are entering into a legal contract.
If you alter your travel plans, please advise The Hotel immediately.
Our booking can be cancelled by mutual agreement, but if not, The Hotel is entitled to claim compensation if you fail to take up any part of the booking.

Cancellation Policy for Individual bedroom bookings:

By 6.00pm on the day prior to arrival, after which time bookings will be subject to the full accommodation tariff being charged.
All cancellations must be confirmed in writing or via e-mail with a response from ourselves as confirmation we have received your correspondence.

Cancellation Policy for group bookings:

10% charge - if one or more rooms are cancelled between four and three weeks prior to arrival.
50% charge - if one or more rooms are cancelled within two weeks of the arrival date.
75% charge – if one or more rooms are cancelled within two working days prior to arrival.

 

Cancellation Policy for meeting rooms:

10% charge – any meeting room cancelled within four weeks prior to arrival.
50% charge – any meeting room cancelled two weeks prior to arrival.
75% charge – any meeting room cancelled within two working days prior to arrival.

Cancellation policy for Afternoon Tea:

In the unfortunate event that cancellation is necessary, we require 24 hours’ notice prior to your reservation.

Event Charges:

You must notify us at The Falcon Hotel, of the approximate number of guests 10 days prior to the event.
If the number of guests change within 10 days of the event you should notify us immediately.
We will accept a change in numbers up to 5 days before the event.

Hotel Charges:

Please note that we will charge the authorised card, or a different card if preferred, when a guest's room bill exceed's £500.00.
We reserve the right to charge the full amount to the authorised card at any time.

Functions:

Please note that our hotel invariably holds functions at weekends.

Multiple Nights:

Please note that although we will endeavour to allocate the same bedroom during any multiple night stay, this will not be possible in all instances,
we will contact you should this be the case.

 

Pets:

Well behaved dogs are welcome in rooms 23 & 24 and in the Apple Suite at an extra charge of £20.

Around the hotel dogs are welcome in the tap bar & garden area only.

 

Price Increases:

Please note that all prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Property:

Please be aware that the hotel will take no responsibility for any items left on our premises, if any items are left for longer than 24 hours then we reserve the right to dispose of them as we see fit, unless prior arrangements are made with us.

 

Smoking:

We have a non-smoking policy in our bedrooms and public areas. There are designated smoking areas on the hotel premises.

Special Diets:

Please advise our team of any special dietary requirements or allergens in advance.
