The Falcon Hotel is the perfect wedding venue in which to get married, located in the picturesque market town of Uppingham, settled in the surrounds of Rutland’s rolling countryside, we offer the very best quintessential country house style wedding.

Our luxuriously stylish bedrooms, award winning gardens and beautiful décor throughout, will wow your guests and provide a spectacular backdrop to your wedding photographs. As well as hosting your wedding reception The Falcon Hotel is also licensed to hold civil ceremonies in the Garden Terrace and the Oakroom.

The Oakroom

Our historic Oakroom is the perfect location for smaller, more intimate weddings. It has fantastic views over Uppingham's Market Place and can seat up to 28 people comfortably on one grand oval table. The original oak panels date back to the 16th century, imparting years of heritage within this beautiful atmospheric room. The Oakroom is also licensed for civil ceremonies.

The Club Room

The Clubroom, situated directly opposite the Oakroom, is another exciting space. It is lighter, brighter and with its original windows and beams, it offers a great place to host your arrival drinks and can be used as a dining room in conjunction with the Oakroom.

The Garden Terrace

The Garden Terrace is striking in its minimalist elegance, with unassuming interiors paired with one-of-a-kind crystal chandeliers, the room radiates sophistication. The bright, light atmosphere, enhanced by the magnificent mirror, sees The Garden Terrace become a resplendent room for your Wedding Breakfast of Ceremony. A multitude of glass doors and windows in the Terrace conjures a seamless transition to The Falcon Garden. The Garden Terrace can seat up to 130 guests, with a variety of table plans possible.

From the beautiful waterfall, to the secluded courtyard, the award winning Falcon Hotel Garden is the perfect place in which to host your arrival drinks.
The bandstand provides the ultimate setting for acoustic musicians and gorgeous wedding photos.
